The Lions Club of Georgetown Stabroek Georgetown donated school supplies and gifts to the St Stephen’s Primary School for the inter House school sports which will be held on Friday.
According to a release from the club, the stationeries and gift are just items to encourage the students to be more involved in extra-curricular activities.
Present at Tuesday’s handing over ceremony were Lion President Ms Odessa De Barros, members of the club, Lion Horace Mosley, Lion Coral Squires and Prospective Lion Merida. The head teacher and the Schools Sport Coordinator were on hand for the presentation.
