The 2013 Universal DVD First Division T/20 Cricket Competition in Berbice continued on Sunday with three more rescheduled matches. The batting performance of the tournament so far was registered by Police middle order batsmen Philbert Wilburg, who blasted 92 (4 fours and 11 sixes) of just 60 balls to almost singlehandedly take Police to a 4 wicket victory over D’Edward, who when they batted first made a decent 120 for 6 in their 15 overs with Jaipaul Heeralall top scoring with 37. Wilburg’s knock was the highest score in the Competition so far.
D’Edward however had an improvement in their fortunes in their second match of the day when they defeated Port Mourant Karibee Rice by 4 wickets. They were able to skittle out Port Mourant for a paltry 59 thanks mainly to outstanding bowling from medium pacer Heeralall Bridgelall, who took 6 for 11 from 3.3 Overs. D’Edward eventually won by 4 wickets.

In the match which was reduced to 15 Overs-a-side due to a late start, D’Edward winning the toss and batting first made 120 for 6 in 15 Overs with Jaipaul Heeralall 37, Sam Ramanand 35, Andel Doris 3 for 13 from 3 Overs, Rocky Hutson 2 for 11 from 3 Overs.
Police 122 for 6 in 13.1 Overs with Philbert Wilburg 92, Devendra Lalsa 2 for 37 from 3 Overs.
At D’Edward, D’Edward beat Port Mourant Karibee Rice by 4 wickets. Port Mourant Karibee Rice sent in to take first strike, 59 all out in 15.2 Overs with Joshua Ramsammy 22, Heeralall Bridgelall 6 for 11 from 3.3 Overs, Devendra Lalsa 2 for 6 from 2 Overs.
D’Edward 60 for 6 from12.1 Overs with Eon Abel 24, Gregory Crandon 3 for 17 from 4 Overs Yudendra Harrinarine 2 for 16 from 4 Overs.
At Edinburgh, Skeldon Community Centre beat Edinburgh by 1 wicket. Edinburgh losing the toss and sent in to take first strike 107 for 6 in 20 Overs with Denny David 20, Deonarine Seepersaud 20, raid Ali 19, Sean Baksh 18, Victor Pedro 2 for 24 from 4 Overs.
Skeldon Community Centre 108 for 9 in 20 Overs with Viendra Gooniah 40 (1 four) Charles France 25, Jerome Andrews 3 for 10 from 4 Overs. Shafeek Khan 2 for 14 from 4 Overs, Denny David 2 for 20 from 4 Overs.
