Police were on Sunday afternoon summoned to the home of a Columbia Village resident who apparently fell to his death.
Initial information is indicating that the man who is known to Villagers as “Tato”, from Columbia Village, on the Essequibo Coast died from severe injuries he sustained after falling from his veranda, some time Sunday.
Reports suggest that the man who lived alone would fall quite often. Tato was described as an alcoholic. The man was said to be in his fifties and was the father of adult children and grandchildren.
