Guyana secure 2 gold medals a Caribbean Badminton Championships 2013 tourney
Guyana secured two gold medals when play in the Age Group Events continued Friday at The Caribbean Junior Badminton Championships (CAREBACO) which is being held in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Priyanna Ramdhani is hoisted aloft by her teammates following clinching gold for Guyana.
Priyanna Ramdhani brought glory again for the Guyana Team by winning her Girls Under-13 Singles Finals despite battling a high fever and cold, while Abosaide Cadogan collected the second gold medal for the Guyanese in the Under-11 Doubles.
This is the fifth Caribbean Championships Priyanna Ramdhani has medaled in a row. She also gained a Silver in the Under-13 Mixed Doubles.

Girls Under-11 Doubles Finals:
Abosaide Cadogan (Guyana) & Erisa Bleau (Suriname): 21-17, 21-11
Girls Singles Under-13 Finals:
Priyanna Ramdhani (Guyana) defeated Shezelle Mctyson (Jamaica): 21-11, 21-13
Mix Doubles Under-13 Finals:
Priyanna Ramdhani (Guyana) Leon Cassie (Trinidad) lost to Edision Ramirez & Mileiki Munoz (Dominican Republic): 21-17, 21-13
