Thirteen teams drawn from within organizations in the Public and Private Sector will vie for honours when the office assistants within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs host a fun Day and 10/10 Tapeball Cricket Competition at the National Park, Sunday September 22 next.
Participating teams are drawn from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Office of the President, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Caricom Secretariat, National Insurance Scheme, National Communications Network, Guyana Police Force (Recruits), National Milling Company and Courtney Benn Construction Ltd.
There will also be a King and Queen Dominoes competition and the winning team receives the Gary Best Rear Admiral and Irfaan Ali, Minister of Housing and Water trophy. Otherwise trophies and medals were donated by Ministers Frank Anthony, Priya Manickchand, Jennifer Westford, Jennifer Webster and Clement Rohee.
Members of the corporate community have also donated prizes including R&T Taxi Service, Star Party Rentals, Trophy Stall, Bourda Market and South Road and Bourda Street, Woodpecker Products, Trophy and Sports Store and FedEx.
