Dear Editor,
I wish to refer to article published in the Kaieteur News of 9th September, 2013, page 3, captioned Medical Council finds unregistered doctors working in public health facility.
I would like to state that I did not make a public statement about the Chief Medical Officer, MOH.
The Ministry of Health is our closest and most crucial partner. Further the newest members of our medical fraternity are the key to Guyana attaining the best health care in the Caribbean.
Dr. Vivienne Mitchell
Chair, Medical Council of Guyana
