Police have issued a wanted bulletin for city businessman Rondy Jagdeo (also called Randy Jagdeo) in connection with the murder of Kurt Davis, who was gunned down outside his Eccles, East Bank Demerara home last week Tuesday.
The bulletin gave Jagdeo’s date of birth as August 19, 1985. He is of East Indian ancestry, is stout in build and fair in complexion.
His last known address was Lot 159 Third Street, Alexander Village, Georgetown.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Rondy Jagdeo is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 225-6411, 225-2227, 226-7065, 227-1149, 911 or the nearest police station. All information will be treated with strict confidence.
Commissioner of Police Leroy Brumell had told Kaieteur News on Monday that police are certain of the perpetrator’s identity. Brumell stated that the suspect disappeared on the very night that Davis was slain, and that police had received reports that he had either gone to the interior or Suriname.
In the Monday edition of the Kaieteur News the suspect was inadvertently identified as Chris Jagdeo in the actual article on the subject. Chris Jagdeo is Rondy Jagdeo’s cousin.
Kaieteur News sincerely apologises to Chris Jagdeo for any inconvenience the mistake may have caused.
Kurt Davis was riddled with at least 15 bullets during a brief confrontation outside his Seventh Street, Eccles, East Bank Demerara residence. Police said that Davis was killed over an affair that he was having with the shooter’s wife.

I guess that by this time he is comfortably reading the news thousands of miles away.
What a joke Brumell before you had put out a bulletin for this man’s arrest. Mark benschop had his photo posted days ago and he is no cop, this is just delayed tactic on your part because for all we know he is miles away, probably some body was rewarded to keep it quiet. After the suspected shooter identity was reveal you were force to place this warrant for this man to be arrested. Shame on you, you are no more different than the disgraceful former commissioner.
Leroy…quit… if u can’t handle being a public figure, u looked very unprofessional, drunk & UN-APPROACHABLE on national TV..yelling…all u had to say was “its under investigation” or no comment or hire a Public Relations Officer & keep collecting taxpayers $$
Makes us think that u will favor any cop that loses his cool & kills or beats citizens!
this is what happen when known criminals/murderers have ties in the upper echelons of the PPP “food” chain
Its funny when the negro people do kill the indian people it was all nice and dandy but today when an indian man kill a negro man all hell break loose…
Guyanese women too wutless he should have killed his wife instead. And if kurt was really his friend he would not have an affair with his wife. The women in guyana seems to have a hot crutch and always looking for somebody to cool them. But they need to respect their selves so that the men will do the same to them.
If u cannot find husband charge wife she was there at the time. Then some of them will think twice about giving blows.
