Adrian Roberts, 29, one of four American citizens detained at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, last year, succumbed at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation yesterday evening.
Roberts, who was granted bail, suffered a worsened medical complication and was taken to the hospital sometime last week. After his condition deteriorated, he was transferred to the facility’s Intensive Care Unit where he later succumbed.
