Black Hawks carts off lion’s share of prizes in Martial Arts tourney

Martial Arts practitioners from the Black Hawks Martial Arts Management Network/Association carted off the lion’s share of prizes when that entity staged Open Championships at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH) over the past weekend.
Trinidadian, Professor Christopher Francis, was in charge of the sessions and congratulated the respective winners while lauding the organizers for pulling off a successful event. He also promised to collaborate with the locals in their preparations for activities in the 11th anniversary celebrations next year.
The results of the championship are: 10-12 Free style kata: 1st-3rd-Isaiah Young, Shoakirah Hopkinson, Isaiah Morris. Kumite 1st-3rd-Isaiah Morris, Isaiah Young, Joshua Allen and 6-9 free style kumite: Isaiah Morris, Isaiah Young, Joshua Allen.
6-9 free style katas: Atiba Coteau, Isaiah Young. 6-9 free style katas: 1st- 3rd-Atiba Coteau, Floyd Morris and Sulaymaan Hopkinson. 6-9 free style kumite 1st-2nd -Floyd Morris and Atiba DeCoteau. 13-15 free style kata-1st-3rd-Aquil Ramsahai, Shiloh Cameron and Jonathan Hansry. 13-15 free style weapons-1st -3rd- Aquil Ramsahai, Jonathan Hansry. 13-15 kumite 1st-3rd: King Cameron, Aquil and Jonathon Hansry.
16-17 kata traditional: 1st-3rd: Troy Bobb (jnr), Feroze Khan and Denish Gopaul. 18-34 Novice kata 1st-3rd: Youle Benjamin, Julian Ramnaught and Bango Lall. International Kata: 1st-3rd: Jimoll Marks, Allejandro Latchman and Porfria Schemyel. Black belt kata 1st-3rd: Paul Ignatius, Steven Persaud and rodwell Alleyne.
18-34 free style kata; 1st-3rd Isiah Pollard, Cordin D’Anjou and Nicholus Braithwaite and 18-34 kumite:  1st-3rd Isaih Pollard, Bertrum Williams and Corwin D’Anjou and Defence 1st-3rd:Anand Mohadio, Corwin D’Anjou and Isiah Pollard. 10-12 females kumite:  1st-3rd Joan Shuman, Shaakirah Hopkinson, Lateefah Hopkinson. 18-34 kumite- 1st-2nd Joan Williams and Porttia Schemyel. Over 35 kumite: 1st-3rd: Dellon Hyman, Troy Bobb and Quesi Patrick. U-6 free style kata, 1st and 2nd Jayden Jack and Elijah Marks. Kumite 1st & 2nd; Elijah Marks and Jaden Jack. Traditional (novice)-10-12: 1st-3rd Daniel Chandler, Vickash Persaud and Tim Pineande. Novice 13-15 1st-3rd-Isiah Stevenson, Elroy Dundus, Roberto Gunpath.
Traditional (intermediate); 1st-3rd-Joseph Rahman, Allioiah Ramnarine and Joshwah Allie. Black belts 1st-3rd-Deon Bobb, Tamera Austin and Fayad Hosein.
