Dear Editor,
There needs to be a correction in an article written in your newspaper (Sunday 25) regarding Guyana’s number 1 race horse Scores Even. Your article misstates that Scores Even broke down. That is incorrect. Nothing is wrong with the horse. He couldn’t get in to race as he was not eligible to run. As a matter of fact I made efforts to state the situation that this horse could not run because he was not eligible to run but it was not printed. Instead, you went with information Mr Samuel Whyte presented about the horse breaking down. Mr Whyte should have done his research on this matter.
