come forward and offered its support to the upcoming Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club (GMR&SC) Meet which is scheduled to be staged on September 8, at the South Dakota Circuit.
Recently, during a simple ceremony conducted at the Company’s Head Office on Avenue of the Republic, Company representative Mark Samaroo handed over a cheque for an undisclosed sum to Manager of the Club Rayon Samaroo.
Samaroo in response thanked the Company on behalf of the Club for its continued support towards the sport, adding that the entity has over the years held an unswerving stance in its obligation to assist in the development of motor racing.
According to Samaroo, some 22 races are carded for the day and competitors will line up in all the different categories in what is already being touted to be a day of kee rivalry among the best in the business.
The first race is set to begin at 09:00 hrs with the line up of competitiors set for 08:30 hrs.
