Sky Taylor and Jilon Hyman marked 17 and 15 games respectively as Thunder amassed 81 games to win the Sonia Goodluck/TNT Dominoes competition when the final was contested last Sunday at R & R, Meadowbrook.
TNT took the runner spot with 77 games while Mix Up placed third with 72. Leroy Edwards chalked 16 games for TNT; Gilbert Mendonca with the maximum of 18 games and Mark Wiltshire 15 were Mix Up’s leading players.
Thunder received a trophy and $150,000 while TNT collected a trophy and $75,000 and Mix Up $35,000.
Meanwhile, Mark Wiltshire in association with B 4 Dominoes team will be hosting a 20/20 competition on Sunday August 18 at Middle Street, Pouderoyen on the West Bank of Demerara.
The winning team will receive $100,000, the runner up $50,000 and third place $20,000. Among the teams slated to take part are TNT, Mix Up, B 4, Thunder, Assassin, F and H, Rage and Wild Bunch. Double six time is 14:00hrs.
