All people talking ‘bout is de pull out, like if pulling out is something strange. Every day plane does pull out from de airport, speedboat does pull out from some stelling and husbands—well that is another story, although some wives does get vex if it come at de wrong time.
Sithe Global pull out from Guyana and nuff people vex. One man claim how is Guyana gun lef wid a bad image. Other people vex too. Fip vex because he can’t get he US$12 million because Sithe Global did tell he how he gun get money once dem start de contract. That mean that if dem don’t tek de contract anymore Fip can’t get no money.
And because Fip can’t get de US$12 million dem got other people who more vex. Dem had some people who did plan fuh mek more than dem pension. Fip did plan fuh give ‘bout four of dem a million apiece and keep de rest fuh stock up he puja shop in Florida.
Is now dem boys know why Ash Knee and Brazzy go to Washington. Dem did want to mek sure that de money was safe. Dem boys seh that Ash Knee even did mark off de budget section from which he gun get de money.
Nio pay cut too. If de company pull out then he can’t get pay as company sectree. He vex too. But dem have people smiling because all of a sudden dem realize that Sithe Global didn’t put in any money and de project could be cheaper because dem don’t have to worry ‘bout paying 19 per cent interest.
De hydro road still building; at least dem boys think so, because wid all de fuss dem didn’t expect de workers to down tools. And in any case is Guyana building de road suh is not no loan.
But dem boys seh that de pull out do more good than bad. It save money, at least US$12 million. But dem who was to get de money had more than dem can spend. Fip get US$6 million and all de talk ‘bout de matter deh in court is hot air. Which court?
