Opener June Ogle slammed a fine century as Guyana made a winning start to the Regional Women’s Super 50 crushing Dominica by 209 runs yesterday.
Guyana batted first and posted 268-3 off their allotted 50 overs with June Ogle leading the way with an unbeaten 104, while Shemaine Campbell stroked 85. Dominica in reply were bowled out for 59 in 28.1 overs.
In other matches Trinidad beat Barbados by 2 wickets. Barbados took first strike and were routed for 134, the Trinis replied with 136-8 in 42.2 overs.
St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) overcame Grenada by 59 runs. SVG scored 227 all out batting first; they then restricted Grenada to 168 in 43.4 overs.
