Beverage giants SM Jaleel and Company-headquartered in Trinidad and Tobago have been confirmed as the official partner for the Umpires and Referees panel in the Limacol Caribbean Premier League (LCPL) T20 tournament.
The company’s products Busta soft drink and Fruta juices have been named the official beverages of the LCPL and along with other SM Jaleel products, will be available at all matches throughout the tournament, providing refreshment and hydration for players, umpires and thirsty, excited cricket fans.
Vice President Marketing Anna Mohammed said the SM Jaleel and Company with their brands Busta and Fruta are proud to be the official soft drink beverages of the LCPL T20. “Busta has traditionally invested in cricket throughout the region and shares the view that the league will help develop the game of T20 as well as its players by providing an opportunity for identifying new talent and creating new West Indian cricket stars on an international level.”
Mohammed stated that SM Jaleel vision of what the LCPL will accomplish both regionally and globally. “We believe in the positive influence of the league and what it can bring to our region; that it will further augment our status as the world T20 champions with many of the best players, while bringing the Caribbean people together in unity. Promoting this positive and exciting global identity for the Caribbean is something Busta and Fruta are proud to be part of, and in that light we are thrilled to be on board as the official soft drinks of the LCPL T20. We wish all teams and players best of luck.

The LCPL T20 commenced on July 30 in Barbados and concludes on August 24 in Trinidad and Tobago.
