Drawing for GSCL 12\12 tourney set for Wednesday

The drawing of the Georgetown Softball Cricket League Inc (GSCL Inc) Super 12\12 tournament will be done on Wednesday 7th at the Guyana National Industrial Corporation (GNIC) Sports Club at 17:30 hrs. The tournament was originally scheduled to commence on August 4 but has now been push back for August 10, matches will also be played on the 11th, 17th while the semifinals and final will take place on August 18.
Among the teams that have confirmed their participation so far are Regal XI, Wolf’s Warriors, defending champions Memorex, Trophy Stall and Speed Boat.
The winning team will cart off $600,000 and a trophy while the runner will take home $200,000 and a trophy. The man of the series will be given a three piece living room suite while the best batsman and bowler will receive trophies.
There will be live radio commentary for the final and giveaways for the fans, music will be provided by the Caribbean Hot Shots ban.
Everest Cricket Club, Regal Stationery and Computer Centre, Trophy Stall, 5 Star Minerals of Bartica and Memorex are the sponsors on board.
