Dominoes teams will be engaged in fierce rivalry for a lucrative first place prize of $150,000 and a trophy when Faye Joseph and Charlyn Barnwell stages the Emancipation Dominoes tournament tonight at 1223 Gaulding Place, South Ruimveldt, Georgetown and concluding tomorrow evening. Twenty seven teams will be competing in a 6 games per sitting format.
Activities get underway at 18:30hrs tonight and at 13:30hrs tomorrow afternoon and the team finishing second receives $75,000 and a trophy while the third place finisher is guaranteed $35,000 and a trophy.
The organisers have also assured that there will be lots of giveaways. An entrance fee of $9,000 will be collected during registration period.
