TNT, B 6, Turning Point, Assassin and Providence have booked their places in the quarterfinals of the Faye Joseph Dominoes competition which commenced last Saturday evening at Gaulin Place in South Ruimveldt.
Specialist amassed 81 games to win round one ahead of Mix Up 77 and C 7 61. Mix Up took the second round with 71 games, while Providence grabbed the runner spot with 70; R and R finished third with 62.
TNT copped first place in the third round with 71 games, while B 6 placed second with 70 and Turning Point finished third with 55. Assassin chalked 72 games to beat TNT 70 and Lions 68 into the first place in the fourth round, while Providence scored 72 to take the honours in the fifth ahead of B 6 70 and Impressers’ 67.
R and R won the Sixth round with 73 games while Cody Girls 70 and Rage 61 took the second and third places respectively. Wild Bunch marked 72 games to overcome Mix Up 70 and Agape 62 in the eight round.
Meanwhile, the victorious team will cart off $175,000 while the runner up will take home $70,000 and the third place $35,000.
