Following the successful hosting of its 2013 Senior competition, dubbed ‘Bodies of Steel’ the top two athletes at the Guyana Amateur Body Building & Fitness Federation (GABBFF) event, new Mr. Guyana Kerwin Clarke and 1st runner-up Devon Davis will be involved in another battle.

This time around, Giftland Officemax will be spearheading proceedings and has named the competition, ‘Mr. Giftland Man of Steel’.
According to Public Relations Manager of Giftland Officemax, Compton Bobb the competition between the reigning Mr. Guyana and the immediate past champion is anticipated to be exciting with their fans and followers ultimately deciding who will win.
He said all voting will commence today (July 23).
Following are the voting options:
1. Facebook – By clicking “Like” on competitor’s name and photo;
2. BBM messaging – sending competitor’s name to Giftland via PIN #29FDC30B;
3. Call in – Curtis Workout Programme (Channel 9) fans can give name. (Probably with both persons on show);
4. In Store – Uplift coupons at cashiers, write desired name and place into respective box (with competitor’s name);
Counting will be done daily. Results will be provided on Giftland Facebook.
Bobb stated that the GABBFF is fully behind this promotion which is a great fillip for the sport.
The winner will receive: 1. One Year Exclusive Package, which includes a 20% Discount Card with his five (5) closest friends also receiving a 15% discount card for the year
2. Monetary assistance for overseas competition and any more exciting opportunities
3. Will be the Face and Ambassador of Giftland Bodybuilding and Fitness
Bobb, who attended Seniors on Saturday evening last at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall and shared details with the fans, noted that the winner will not only be an Ambassador as the Champion but will be well advertised and is expected to maintain a positive identity both in and out of Guyana.
