The Guyana Amateur Swimming Association (GASA) has released a preliminary list of fifteen (15) swimmers who have been named to represent Guyana at the XIX Goodwill Swim Meet to be held in Barbados during August 16-18, 2013.
Those named are:

Hannibal Gaskin, Omari Dunn, Omar Adams, Derrick Ramsaroop (males)
According to a GASA release, these swimmers achieved B, C & D qualifying times during the recently held Time Trials. Guyana has the option of sending a full team of 40 swimmers (4 per each age group) but would not be able to do so this year.
Team Coaches are Shyka Roberts (8 and under), Isabel Cousa Fals 11-12 to 15-17 while Sean Baksh will be the supervising Coach. Team management comprises Ivan Persaud, Manager; Jean La Rose, Assistant Manager; and Leon Seaton, Chaperone.
The Goodwill Swim Meet is held annually and is hosted on a rotational basis in one of the four countries that participate in this Meet. They include Barbados, Guyana, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago. The host country also has the option of inviting a guest team and this year Barbados has invited the national federation of St Lucia as the guest team.
The swimmers are currently in training from Mondays to Saturdays at the National Aquatic Centre, Liliendaal. Except for Wednesdays and Saturdays, this involves twice a day training sessions in the morning and afternoon for close to two hours for each session and land conditioning work on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
A final swim off is expected to be held to see if anyone else will be able to make the qualifying times set by GASA after which a final team will be named.
