People remember good when Bharrat announce that he gun put security camera at every corner fuh ketch criminals. When dem start put up de cameras people ask dem if dem ain’t worry that somebody gun thief de cameras.
Bharrat explain that de system got cameras watching cameras suh if anybody go to thief de camera people gun see dem. People start fuh feel nice. Some even start fuh wear dem jewels again because dem believe that people watching and that if anybody try anything dem gun get ketch.
Is only de other day dem boys understand that de cameras was to watch dem PNC and AFC protesters. And that is why when de policeman Cleto get shoot de camera was pointing down Regent Street and not by de car park wheh nuff crime does happen. De intention was to see who protesting fuh arrest dem.
Well de people didn’t have to protest. But dem still believe Bharrat when he seh that de cameras deh in such a way that if dem have a kidnapping or a carjacking de police gun know which part of de country de car heading—if it heading up East Coast or East Bank.
But when you tell a lie you got to hope that people forget. Bharrat didn’t tell people that he didn’t have people monitoring de cameras, that dem same cameras was only fuh record keeping. If a man claim that somebody thief he car then de police gun give de Ohh Pee de time and place and dem gun check de records and when dem find de feed, is then dem gun give de police.
Is a good thing nuff private people got cameras. That is wha really help de police. De cameras wha de government set up ain’t really wukking right now.
But dem boys know that de government spend a lot of money pun de cameras. Now dem believe that most of de money siphon off and that is why nuff of de cameras ain’t wukking.
De only cameras that wukking is dem wha allow some people to peep. De ones by de seawalls wukking and dem wukking good.
Talk half and have pity pun de nation wid de not wukking security cameras.
