Local Hotel chain, Sleepin International has offered sponsorship for the upcoming Boyce & Jefford Track and Field Classic IV, which will be held on August 17 at the Police Sports Club Ground and August 18 at MSC Ground, Linden.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Sleepin International Hotel chain, Clifton Bacchus, stated that he is overwhelmed to have the opportunity to partner with the organisers to ensure that there is enough hospitality and comfort during the two-day meet.

Suriname are already confirmed to compete in the meet that will see the Heats and three distance finals being held on Day I at Eve Leary and all other finals on Day II at the MSC Ground, Linden.
Technical Delegate on the Management Committee for the fourth edition of the Boyce & Jefford Classic, Cornel Rose thanked Sleepin for their contribution, indicating that he is part of ensuring that all the right systems are in place for an international competition.
Apart from dolling out lucrative cash prizes to clubs and athletes, the Boyce & Jefford Track and Field Classic is aimed at establishing a prominent place for athletics in Guyana where leading local athletes match strides with their Caribbean counterparts.
