Two weeks after a series of unusual events which forced the students of the Guyana School of Agriculture to leave the institution, officials yesterday confirmed that the students returned to sit their final exams.
According to Chief Executive Officer Brian Greenidge, the students who evacuated on June 26 returned yesterday and finished their examinations which were scheduled during the period of what had been described as “demonic” attacks.
Greenidge said that” everything is back to normal”.
Meanwhile, some of the students who were victims of the manifestations are still recovering while others have returned to complete their examinations.
One male student who had previously spoken to this publication said that he had since returned to the school but the atmosphere is not the same.
“When we come back is like the place was a whole different atmosphere, people who use to be friends now suddenly turn enemies. Everybody scared… don’t take what happened couple weeks back for granted,” the young man said.
A female student when contacted said that she still has “nightmares” about the night she was forced to sleep on the school tarmac.
“I had to run for my life that night and all they did was apologize. What about some of us who are still traumatized about this whole thing?”
There were no reports of any other incidents.
