Fighters chalked up 78 games to win the Kevin Mingo and Johnny Barnwell organised Dominoes competition which was contested on Sunday last at Belladrum, West Coast Berbice. Drivers took the second place with 68 games while Ghetto Youths came third with 67.
The first and second placed teams received trophies compliments of Mrs. Persaud and Vidya Lewis.
Meanwhile, the Rest Team defeated All stars 2-1 in the final of the South Turkeyen Sports Committee 5-a-side small goal football competition which was played recently at the National Cultural Centre Tarmac.
In the supporting match Redeemer Primary School ‘A’ overcame Redeemer ‘B’ 2-1. Trophies for this event were donated by Banners Foundation, Trophy Stall and Melbourne Inn, while cash prizes were compliments of Mark Phillips, Roysdale Forde and Joseph Harmon.
The tournament was organised by Johnny Barnwell and Kevin Walcott.
