Local long distance runner Alika Morgan recently returned from Trinidad and Tobago where she won a silver medal at the Caricom 10K race. The feats of the young athlete were duly acknowledged when proprietor of Colors Boutique, Robb Street, Georgetown, Milton Bradford, extended his corporate hand and presented one pair of track boots to the young athlete to facilitate her continued training sessions.
Morgan, accompanied by her Coach, Leslie Blacks, journeyed to the Robb Street location of the business place where sales representative, Allicon Blackman, handed over the gift on behalf of her boss.
Mr. Blacks spoke on behalf of his athlete and extended gratitude to his benefactor. The athletic Coach said that Mr. Bradford has extended such chivalry in the past which has served as the catalyst to his charge’s many successes.
