It is often said that the love of money is the root of all evil. This love of money created some monsters in Guyana to the point that these people do not know what to do with what they have. Money has no value.
This surfeit of money is going to lead to a clash of neighbours, because one would want to acquire what the other has for the purposes of expansion. Of course some things are not for sale, so the money power is going to hire guns to blast the obstacle out of the way.
Another sad chapter would begin in Guyana.

The police despite their best efforts will be hard pressed to investigate the spate of murders. It would seem that people kill at the drop of a hat. Two more murders will take place in the east of the country. One would actually result from a disagreement that arose over a table in a rum shop.
That spate of killing is only the tip of the iceberg because the state would be hard pressed to process the evidence for the procession.

West Demerara seems to be attracting the petty criminals out of the city, but the police there are unprepared. The result is that the criminals would make hay and the police would only put on a show. Fortunately, there are ranks who understand crime and know some of the criminals.
