Three hotlines have been successfully implemented by the Ministry of Education as part of its efforts to forge closer relations with members of the public.
A statement from the Ministry yesterday listed the hotline numbers as 223-7891, 623-4010 and 623-0550. According to the Ministry “we value the relationship with the people we serve and as such, we would like to ensure that we take every opportunity to address their concerns and take recommendations on how to improve the delivery of education in our country.”
The hotline numbers, the statement said, will serve to provide rapid response to concerns and by extension provide a direct line of communication between the Ministry and the public.
Additionally, the statement said that the Ministry will continue to interact with the public via social media namely Facebook:www.facebook.com/MinistryofEducation-Guyana and Twitter: @EducationGuyana.
