The current inclement weather has forced executives of the Lusignan Golf Club to call off today’s planned Wartsila Golf tournament at the Lusignan Club.
Rain throughout the week has left the golf course at Lusignan waterlogged.
Last weekend’s Safeway Security ProAm Tournament was also postponed due to the prevailing weather conditions.
LGC Vice President David Mohamed said should there be a break in the weather, a double header will be planned for next weekend with the Wartsila tournament to be played on the Saturday and Safeway Security Classic the following day.
The LGC has managed to run off most of the scheduled tournaments for 2013 as local golfers enjoy a hectic season.
