COURTS Guyana Inc. on Thursday rewarded nine lucky customers with groceries, prizes and jewellery for their participation in its recent Facebook, Whirlpool and Mothers’ Day promotions.

Under the ‘Be Inspired Appliance Promotion’ which centered on the purchase of Whirlpool products, four customers secured a voucher valued $400,000 for a year-long supply of free groceries. The winners will be given cheques of $33,000 every month to be spent on groceries from any of the Bounty Supermarkets around the region.
Radesh Williams from Beehive East Coast Demerara, one of the winners of this promotion, said that the voucher will certainly go a long way in providing for his family.
The Mothers’ Day Promotion, which catered for purchases valued $24,999 and over, awarded three winners a $50,000 gift voucher to shop at Kings Jewellery World. Margaret Wharton of East Ruimveldt, one of the winners of this promotion, said that her husband encouraged her to use the voucher to purchase “something memorable” for herself.
For those COURTS customers who are not on Facebook, it is time to join the popular social networking site since promotions are now being introduced on the COURTS Facebook page. Nkase Carter and Jude Clarke were the two lucky winners of the ‘Child’s Funniest Moments’ Facebook Promotion that offered families the chance to upload photos and videos of their child’s funniest moments. Nkase submitted a picture of her nine month old baby who was ‘fixing’ his stroller, screwdriver in hand and busy at work. The baby mechanic won a 32-inch TCL flat screen television. The second prize winner of a new Panasonic music system, Jude Carter, submitted a picture of his baby musician. The child was holding a guitar almost one and a half times his size.
COURTS sees the giveaways as an opportunity to publicly honour their customers for their patronage and to further demonstrate their determination on delivering their corporate responsibilities.
