Leopold Street vs. Silver Bullets promises fireworks
This evening will determine the semi-final matchups in the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ National Playoffs which is being played, at the Banks Car Park, Ruimveldt.
Four matches in the actual competition will be played with Hard Core of Bartica taking on Victoria Church Yard of East Coast Demerara and that will be followed by the clash between East Coast winners Plaisance and Millenium, while Linden’s Silent Assassins tackles Georgetown runner-up Back Circle, before Georgetown winners Leopold Street entertain Linden champions Silver Bullets in a marquee matchup that is sure to intensify the long standing sports rivalry between the two towns.
However, those four games will be preceded by two exhibition games as the Organisers seek to wet the appetite of the anticipated large turnout, before the ‘big guns’ take to the tarmac.
