Colin ‘Teshawn’ Carbon who was reported missing for a week by his common law wife, Shannon Small, called her on Tuesday afternoon to let her know that he will be coming out of the interior.
The man reportedly arrived home close to 19:00 hours yesterday. Carbon said that “malaria raised on him” and thus he was not able to contact Small. His family intends to take him to the hospital where he can receive treatment.
The man related that someone who saw the ‘missing man’ article that appeared in this publication on Tuesday notified him that his family was worried about his fate.
Small had told Kaieteur News that the last time she heard from the father of her child was last week Monday when he contacted her with news that he was waiting on transportation to travel out of the interior, but he did not show up.
This led to the woman becoming worried that something dreadful had happened, so she frantically tried to contact the man via phone numbers that he had borrowed to call or text her.
Her stress increased when she learnt that her husband was seen prepared to travel home and that others who were with him were already out.
