After a great day of glorious weather and a fantastic looking Green, the Muneshwar’s Tourney was completed Saturday evening with Haresh Tiwari coming out on top to hold the Muneshwar’s trophy. He is also tied with Andre Cummings (Last month’s Scotiabank winner) for the 2013 player with a win each. Tiwari was presented with the winner’s trophy and a prize club for his excellent finish.
In 2nd place was club President, Jerome Khan and in 3rd Carlos Adams of Adzer Win-doors Inc. Best gross of the day was recorded by William Walker, proprietor of Oasis Café, while Nearest to the Pin was Jorge Medina, Managing Director of Macorp.
In his remarks, the Club Secretary Yog Mahadeo shared further developments of the Club with the players and thanked the sponsor, Muneshwar Ltd. He also announced the launch of the Lusignan Golf Club Facebook page, among other things. President of the Club, Jerome Khan also expressed gratitude to the Sponsor, while the Club Captain, Chatterpaul Deo expressed thanks to Groundsman Mark Guyadin for excellent work on the Greens.
Muneshwar Ltd’s representative, Ms Usha expressed their delight for the eight year of sponsorship and challenged the players to continue. She announced Muneshwar’s readiness to sponsor again in the next year, 2014.
In closing, the Club Secretary issued the challenge for Players to compete in next week’s GenEquip/John Deere tournament.
