BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – Barbados set Guyana an imposing 378 to win on the third day of the second round match of the Regional Four-Day Championship at Kensington Oval yesterday.
Resuming from their overnight 0-0, Barbados eventually declared at 235 for 7 wickets to set the Guyanese a big chase.
Rashidi Boucher made a top score of 81, Roston Chase supported with 49, Kraigg Brathwaite 27, Jason Carter 25 and Shane Dowrich 24. Bowling for Guyana Steven Jacobs took 2-49 to head the bowling.
In reply, Guyana reached 94 for 1 with Tagenarine Chanderpaul back in the pavilion for 9.
