The GUNDAC Open Singles Badminton Tournament started at the Queens College Courts on Friday last. The tournament starts off the series of tournaments the GBA has planned for the year 2013.
Reaching the semi-finals in the Men Singles are; Narayan Ramdhani, Nicholas Ali, Jonathan Mangra and Darrell Carpenay. In the Ladies Singles are: Arian Kayume, Priyanna Ramdhani, Nadine Jairam and Ambika Ramraj:

Jonathan Persaud defeated Armand Ramdhani: 21-5, 21-10
Cecil Abrams defeated Hemraj Beharry: 21-9, 21-11
Jonathan Mangra defeated Ajave Singh: 21-19, 17-21, 10-21
Omari Joseph defeated Dominic Braam: 22-20, 21-6

Quarter-Finals:
Nicholas Ali defeated Jonathan Persaud: 21-7, 21-10
