With the launch of its newest promotion ‘EZ Cash’, to commemorate its sixth anniversary, Digicel Guyana is prepared to make six of its customers millionaires over a six-week period. By simply topping up with $600 or more, customers stand a chance of being a part of the promotion which will not only see one of them becoming a millionaire each week, but they will automatically become eligible for $600 free credit.
At least this is according to the mobile company’s Head of Marketing Ms Jacqueline James who, during a press conference on Friday, declared that, “Once you top up with $600 daily you stand a chance to be one of 60 lucky customers who will win $600 free credit and of course if you top up every day you can win free credit every day for six weeks.
Even if you top up and win free credit every single day you still have a chance of winning something even bigger because every week one lucky customer will win $1 million in cash courtesy of Digicel for our Sixth Anniversary.”
Six years ago Digicel entered the Guyana market and according to James “every year we said we would offer fantastic promotions for our customers and of course this year being our sixth year there is no difference.”
Moreover, she announced that thousands of customers will win something special and even have a chance to become a millionaire.
The anniversary promotion is set to officially commence tomorrow (Monday, February 4) and will continue for the next six weeks, effectively culminating on March 17.
“It is very, very simple; it’s as easy as one two three,” James said as she disclosed that “leading up to our anniversary you will see the Digicel ‘Vibes’ teams out in various communities promoting our sixth anniversary as well as other activities that will be happening for this month.”
James explained that the company will be selecting 12 lucky customers who have been with Digicel Guyana since it penetrated the local market on February 14, 2007.
“We will have a special treat for those customers. They will celebrate with us, and of course, they can bring along their Valentine. So customers can look out for that,” James said.
There will also be special treats for customers who visit Digicel stores during the month of February. “For the next six weeks customers can expect quite a few prizes and surprises as we seek to reward our customers for choosing Digicel as their preferred mobile network,” James asserted.
This month too will see the company directing much focus on the Mashramani celebration since according to Head of Marketing, “as you know Mash is on the way and many, many of our customers, supporters and well-wishers are excited to know what is in store for our mash band.”
Moreover, part of the activities leading up to the anniversary celebration will be the launch of the Digicel Mash Band. “During that period you will find us launching our Mash Band at DCC ground and our Mash-fit crew will be out in their numbers and of course our staff, guests and well-wishers will be out with us for that launch,” James emphasised
Digicel’s facebook and twitter fans will also be granted the privilege to engage in its anniversary promotion celebration and its Mash Band, James said in concluding.
