Jan 23, 2013 Letters
Dear Editor,
I refer to a letter written by Mr. W.G. Boston in your Friday, 18th January, 2013 edition captioned “Goodbye to the Cricket Killers”.
In that letter, Mr. Boston posited among other things that Mr. Chetram Singh, after 20 years, uncaringly handed over Guyana’s cricket to a cabal of cricketing non entities, who hijacked our cricket.
Mr. Boston must be aware of the fact that Mr. Singh could not have handed over the cricket unless he had possession and control of it.
He should therefore ask himself, who are the people who assisted Mr. Singh in obtaining this control over the past 20 years, and in particular in 2009.
The answer may be truly instructive.
