On Tuesday about 80 senior citizens were hosted at a special treat at Roadside Baptist. They had a wonderful time with a delicious meal; take home goody bag and gifts. The elders had a fun time singing and dancing also.
Roadside Baptist has an organized seniors’ group that meets on the last Tuesday of every month but December is a real special time for them.
The treat was supported by a few individuals, GBTI and Republic Bank. NBS, Banks DIH, Mr. F. Mursaline and Ms. S. Latchman are ongoing supporters of the Social Program.
The Board of Directors extended gratitude to all who have brightened the lives of the seniors during the year, especially for the festive season.
There was also gratitude for the contribution from Doerga Enterprise for the much appreciated discounts for the gift packages for the seniors.
