Shondell Alfred arrives in Mexico City
The Guyana Boxing Board of Control is pleased to advise that the WBC’s Executive Secretary, Mauricio Sulaiman has confirmed that they have received Shondell Alfred and her team, Sebert Blake and Joseph Murray early this morning in Mexico City, an email from the GBBC stated referring from a communication from Mr. Sulaiman.

Alfred said she does not know much about her opponent Zulina Muños but has come well prepared for anything and has come to Mexico to give everything to win the title.
The fight is set for Friday, November 24 for the prestigious WBC World Super Flyweight Title. She said on arrival that she is ready for the fight and has come to win. Shondell has been in the last few weeks under an intense training regime designed to condition her for the high altitude fight.
Munoz, the current WBC Silver Champion is a tough, well trained and very seasoned Mexican campaigner and the fight is widely expected to be among the most difficult of Shondell’s career.
Mauricio Sulaiman also advised that the fight should be available by live stream on SULJOS.TV which may provide Guyanese fans an opportunity to see the fight live.
