The Japan Karate Association / World Federation Guyana (National Park Dojo) will be hosting their annual National Karate Championships tomorrow at the Marian’s Academy Auditorium, Carifesta Avenue, kicking off at 13:00hrs.
Students participating will be from the Headquarters Dojo at the National Park,
Thomas Lands, Port Mourant and Canje Berbice Dojo’s.
They will all be competing for the top positions in the various categories with the knowledge that top performers will be eligible to represent Guyana at the 2013 JKA/WF America International Karate Camp & Goodwill Tournament in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA.
All are encouraged to come out and witness first hand, the competitiveness, professionalism and high standards of the children, teenagers and adults as they compete; along with the suspenseful Karate demonstrations that will be more than entertaining.
