Over-50 veteran footballers will have another practice session today at the Georgetown Football Club ground, Bourda from 9:00 this morning.
The players are preparing for a two match Goodwill tournament against Flamingo of Suriname, who will be here from November 1. All Over-50 veterans are encouraged to come out to today’s session.
While the organisers are still seeking additional sponsorship, several businesses and individuals have chipped in to assist in various ways and the organisers are expressing gratitude.
Among those helping to date are; Western Union, Demerara Mutual life Insurance Company, the Guyana Football Federation, Minister Robeson Benn, Cummings Electrical, Jerries Restaurant and Bonny’s Supermarket.
