Man jailed for sexual activity with girl, 9

Vishal Rajkumar, 20, of no fixed place of abode was on Friday jailed for five years by Magistrate Adela Nagamootoo at the Reliance Magistrate’s Court. He was found guilty on a charge of sexual activity with a minor.
Corporal Orin Joseph, the Prosecutor, told the court that Rajkumar who had no fixed place of abode would be about the place doing odd jobs. He would stay at various homes from time to time. On February 12, last, he stayed over at the home of the victim.
During the night, the child’s grandmother awoke and to her bewilderment she saw Rajkumar forcing his penis into the minor’s mouth.  The woman raised an alarm.
Rakjumar was arrested and subsequently charged with performing a sexual activity on a minor.
