Driver alleges swerves from woman, crashes car
Information was sketchy about this accident but Kaieteur News understands that this car which was being driven by a young man of Tain, Corentyne, Berbice on Sunday evening was travelling at a fast rate on the No19 Public Road when the driver alleged that he saw a woman in the middle of the thoroughfare. He allegedly told investigators that he swerved to avoid hitting the woman and crashed into a lamp post.
The car was badly damaged while the driver was taken to the New Amsterdam hospital where he was admitted.
