Naresh Narine is pleading with his wife of 17 years to return his $3.150M which he claims she has stolen from his home.
Narine is maintaining that the missing money was all of his hard earn savings, and money he had set aside to purchase a new car.
The father of one said that his wife had previously walked out of their Richmond Housing Scheme home some two weeks ago but returned.
Naresh explained that although she had walked out on the first occasion, he had given her a second chance after she called to inform him she would return to his residence.
“We never had any big problem; all I want is my money because she cannot be married to me and a next man too.” He said that he is legally married.
He is of the view that his wife might be somewhere on the West Coast of Demerara.
A report was lodged at the Anna Regina Police Station.
