An attacking half century by national U-19 all-rounder Ricardo Adams led MME Uprising Star to a convincing 8 wicket win over Windsor Forest when the West Coast Demerara United Cricket league \President’s Cup twenty \20 competition continued last Saturday.
Adams who opened the batting stroked his way to 60 not out after pacer Chandreka Ragnauth 3-25 and left arm spinner Imran Khan 2-10 managed to restrict Windsor Forest who batted first to 96-8 off their allocation of overs at the Cornelia Ida ground. Mahendra Balgobin was the only batsman that offered any resistance with 54.
Uprising Star in reply won the match in 9.4 overs despite losing two early wickets, ending on 99-2.
