BREAKING NEWS: Three dead as truck smashes into car
Undertakers prepare to transfer the dead to the mortuary
A couple and their daughter were killed at 10:30 hours today after a vehicular smash-up on the Supply Public Road East Bank Demerara. The victims were pronounced dead on arrival at the Diamond Diagnostic Centre.
Dead is 33-year-old sand truck driver Suresh Jhaman, Indranie Narine, his 40-year-old reputed wife and Amanda Deonarine, his 16-year-old step daughter; all of Lot 12 Supply East Bank Demerara.
According to reports, motor car PNN 1696 was at the time heading South in the direction of the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, while motor truck GNN 3019 was heading towards the city (in the opposite direction).
Kaieteur News was told that the driver of the car ended up in the path of the truck which slammed head on into the truck. The car then slammed into a brick wall.
