Dear Sir,
I have being reading and following the various articles in the newspaper about the cleaning of the city and keeping it clean.
Before the major clean-up was announced and the few changes within the City Hall, the garbage used to be clean (picked-up) once a week in Middle Road, La-Penitence, but it has been weeks now since this has stopped.
Having a major clean-up is very good, but we cannot have the contractor trucks stop picking up garbage once a week which was done in Middle Road, La-Penitence, NOTHING at all now…
Some people might start burning some garbage. Is this safe? Is this totally healthy? With the dry season, lots of unfortunate things can happen.
Why is the contractor not coming around anymore in Middle Road, La-Penitence? What are being reviewed to cause this to stop? What are the immediate plans? Why do people that pay their taxes have to suffer like this?
Hope to see the re-start of garbage collection in this area soon.
Regards
E. Whyte
