A route 94 minibus bearing licence plate number BPP 3370 mysteriously went up in flames last Wednesday morning.
The minibus belongs to 25-year-old Ramroop Laldeo, formerly of the Diamond Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara.
The minibus was parked a few feet away from the home where Laldeo was staying in Tabatinga.
According to reports, the man was asleep when he felt an unusual heat. Upon investigating where the heat was coming from, Laldeo discovered that the vehicle, which gives him a daily income, was in flames.
The matter was reported to the police and an investigation has been launched.
