Dear Editor,
As a passenger and cargo shipper to North West District, I am getting worried about the amount of illegal drugs, both marijuana and cocaine that are being shipped to the North West Districts by government ferries.
Based on information that I received, government employees on the ferries are working along with others.
Recently, an employee of the department was held with drugs in the North West District and he and other employees were not charged. The rumour is that $200,000 was paid to ensure this.
The employee is still on the job.
It is time for the Transport and Harbours Department to start putting measures in place to stop the flow of drugs to North West.
Concerned Resident
