BREAKING NEWS: Three killed in Friendship crash
A pregnant woman was among three people killed at around 06:00 hrs today after the car they were travelling in ended up in a canal after veering off the East Bank Demerara Public road, in the vicinity of Friendship.
The victims were identified as Tameka Lupe, 23, who was pregnant at the time; her brother, Jason Brumell and their cousin-in-law, Police Sergeant Sherlon Thomas.
Kaieteur News understands that the victims were heading to Georgetown when the accident occurred.
