One man is in police custody assisting with investigations following an armed robbery which occurred on Friday evening in Guyhoc Park. According to reports Neville Dundas, 58, of 830 Samaan Street, Guyhoc Park, was relieved of his gold chain around 21:30 hours on Friday.
The man was standing in his yard chatting with a friend when two men scaled his back fence and attacked him with guns, before snatching his gold chain valued $500,000. The men made good their escape at the back fence and jumped into a waiting car, a Toyota Allion.
One man has been arrested after investigators traced the car to him. The man has since told investigators that he rented the car and a friend borrowed the car. Investigations are ongoing.
